Fugitive murderer.

Tijuana, Baja California.- State authorities gave more information about the cruel murder of four migrants that were killed with AK-47's. The weapons that were utilized are related to the recent execution of two women found next to the Tijuana dam.

As conspiritors of the quadruple murder the following men were placed under arrest, Alfredo Ronquillo Rivera, a.k.a "El Ganso", 24, and Efraín Vargas Gutiérrez, a.k.a. "El Chivo", 27, while still as fugitives are Gilberto and Fernando Castañeda Cardenas "El Gil and El Ofer", of 22 and 26, as well as Luis Miguel González Herrera "El Pelon", of 19.

All appear to be the presumed killers of migrants Octavio Manuel Martínez Villela, 26, whom they murdered in the early morning of June 15 , along with Alejandro Vargas Patiño, 17, Jesus Panduro Rodriguez, 23, and Francisco Oriz Duarte, 18.

Although the bodies of the three victims were discovered three days later in the zone known as San Pablo, located seven kilometers north of the Tecate-Mexicali toll-free highway, of the municipality of Tecate.

The investigations by agents of the Organic Unit of Deceitful Homicides established that on that tragic night, a group of 20 countrymen ventured to that zone, with the illegal pretension to enter the United States.

During the crossing, the five identified men aproached them, with AK-47 rifles to rob them of their money and belongings. Nevertheless, some put up a fight, stirred up a struggle for which the murderers began to shoot at them.

The zone near the border next toTecate, is becoming the zone of a bloody war among human and drug smugglers, the most terrible one occurred in a spot known as "Joe Bill", where they massacred with gun shots three people. A week before in another cross-fire near that area, three more turned out to be injured but they managed to flee to the United States where they were treated.

The dead were indentified as Alejandro Vargas Patiño, 17, nd Francisco Ortiz Duarte, 18, both from Tecoma, Colima, and Jesús Panduro Rodríguez, 23, from Michoacán.

The three bodies were found by grupo Beta, face down. The men were killed in that area near San Pablo, located north of the 122 kilometer of the Mexicali-Tijuana road.

Forensic agents from Baja California located bullet casings of 7.62 x 39 caliber, fired from an AK-47.

Campo Minutewoman Assaulted In Front of TV Cameras

Anchorman Juan Rocha of Azteca TV, Mexico City, contacted Raymond Herrera in order to film Minutemen in action. On June 11, 2008, Azteca TV filmed Minutemen at the Rancho Cucamonga Day Laborer Site and other areas, such as the border and congress members' offices.
RANCHO CUCAMONGA

Azteca TV Mexico City Reporter Juan Rocha interviewed day laborer "English teacher" above. The reporter and camera man were startled as well as shocked at the behavior of their fellow countrymen - day laborers - in Rancho Cucamonga.
The reporter said day laborer sites are not allowed in Mexico. He said, "They know better. They wouldn't do this in Mexico."
CIMG2523.jpg picture by rhvidston1
Day laborer above chastised Minutemen in a loud diatribe - in a vile and contentious manner. Minutemen stood their ground, holding American flags.
CIMG2531.jpg picture by rhvidston1
The above day laborer supporter - eyes red from alcohol - was caustic in an interview with the TV reporter. He even said, "We're going to kick your ass" to Raymond Herrera, on camera, above photo.
We had filmed at the day laborer site for approximately 30 minutes.
ASSAULT
CIMG2538.jpg picture by rhvidston1
The man at right in the photo above, drove past the Minutemen - stopped in the intersection, and said, "I'll be right there. Don't go away." A few minutes later he stormed toward the Minutemen - yelling.
As he approached, Herrera dialed 911.
Robin Hvidston was holding a professional sign that read SUPPORT AMERICAN WORKERS, as the TV camerman wanted to film sign holding.
The yelling man lunged at Hvidston - injuring her right hand - as he stole the professionally made sign from her hand, as well as flyers. The assailant attempted to rip the vinyl sign in half. When he could not, he mangled the sign.
CIMG2540.jpg picture by rhvidston1
Above, the assailant holds the stolen sign - the theft was captured by the Azteca TV film crew - to be shown on TV in Mexico.
Herrera trailed the assailant - who lived in nearby apartments, a supporter of the day laborers - as Herrera spoke to the 911 operator - describing the assailant's appearance, weight, clothing, features, etc.
CIMG2543.jpg picture by rhvidston1
Mangled sign in the man's right hand. He continually yelled we were {bothering his friends, the day laborers." He railed against the Minutemen, yelling, things like, "Leave the day laborers alone."
CIMG2547.jpg picture by rhvidston1
He put the mangled sign in a trash can as Herrera, in constant contact with the 911 operator - stayed on the telephone until officers arrive.
OFFICERS ARRIVE
CIMG2552.jpg picture by rhvidston1
Upland officers arrived and separated the parties - taking control of the scene. All the while, Azteca TV anchor Juan Rocha continued filming.
CIMG2556.jpg picture by rhvidston1
Opposition leader, female above, arrives and chastises police
Upland Police Officers upon assessment determined the jurisdiction was that of Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff's Department as the incident occurred in Rancho Cucamonga. Three Upland Police Officers detained the assailant and waited for Rancho Cucamonga Sheriffs to arrive - approximately 15 minutes.
During that time, the day laborers were joined by several activists and opposition leaders, summoned via a telephone network - the arriving leaders, whipped the day laborers up into a frenzy against law enforcement.
ARREST!
CIMG2555.jpg picture by rhvidston1
Upon arrival, the Rancho Cucamonga Sherrif Deputy met with the Upland Police and then interviewed the individuals involved and arrested the assailant.

As the deputy sheriff arrested the assailant, the activists were yelling.
CIMG2554-2.jpg picture by rhvidston1
The woman at right, an activist, was yelling, "THE MINUTEMEN ARE RACIST!" As the officer arrested the assailant, the activist exploded with rage, attempting to prevent the arrest.
She was being interviewed by Azteca TV Anchor Rocha. Upon completion of the interview, the Minutemen left with the TV crew for the next venue.
Hvidston was examined in the emergency room. She had a injured wrist and thumb with swelling. The emergency room physician put splint on the severely sprained site and prescribed pain medication.

Azteca Televsion Visits The Campo Minutemen

TV Azteca is the second largest Mexican Television Network.

AZTECA media is part of an international network of correspondents that Jim Gilchrist and his Minuteman Project are taking on tours of U.S. border areas, with Britt Craig of Campo Minutemen as their guide.

The network also operates Azteca 13 Internacional, reaching 13 countries in Central and South America.

Journalism is a dangerous business in Mexico, second only to Iraqi in violence toward the profession. The crew from Azteca was interested in the concerns of American Citizens and the situation in their country which is causing so many of their countrymen to flee. They were amazed at the absence of any physical barrier at the border.

The Following Pictures feature Campo Minutemen Ray and Robin and Juan Rocha of Azteca TV, Mexico City. They were taken by Campo Minuteman Kingfish.

Report From Gaget Dan - ..one more for the Good Guys!

June 15, 2008

I was traveling Eastbound on I-8, one mile West of the Hwy.79 exit, when, I observed a POI (person of interest) coming out of the canyon onto the South side of I-8 walking Westbound. When I stopped my vehicle, he started jogging Westbound along I-8.

I called the El Cajon BP Dispatch at aprox. 1800 hrs.(6PM) and told them about the POI I observed. The Dispatcher noted the infomation and said he would see if they had an Agent available to respond? After a few minutes I observed the POI crossing Northbound over the Freeway, I called the Dispatcher once again to update them on the POI location. They were checking to see if an Agent was able to respond? Once the POI crossed to the North side of I-8, I lost visual on him. I stood by my location waiting to see if a BP Agent would arrive, removing litter from along the roadside to pass the time (removed aprox.20 pounds). After aprox. 45 minutes from notifying the El Cajon BP Dispatcher, I called to give one last update on the POI (color of shirt, hat, pants, etc.). No sooner did I hang up my cell phone when the POI walked up to me and started talking to me in Spanish.

I called back the El Cajon Dispatcher and told him that the POI is back at my location, sitting down asking for water, etc.? I was told that they have no BP Agent to send, and, was there anything else they could help me with? To say the least, I was fit to be tied! I told the Dispatcher that if they didn't have an Agent to send, they couldn't help me with anything else.

Then, I called the Campo BP out on I-8 near Sunrise Hwy., told them that I have a POI at my location, that El Cajon BP had no Agents available to send, and, asked if they had an Agent available to send? They mentioned that they thought they did, and, would try to send one? I gave the Agent my cell phone number and told him if they are not able to send an Agent, to give me a call back (it's 1900Hrs./ 7PM) by now. The Campo Agent arrived in aprox. 12 min., thanked me, processed the POI and were on their way by 1920Hrs. / 7:20PM.

Happy Father's Day America...one more for the Good Guys! Dan

Death of A Patriot

We are shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden death of Big Bob's son, Bob. Our sympathy and our prayers are with their family at this time.

Big Bob
spends the majority of his time on our U.S./Mexico border as a vigilant Minuteman spotting, reporting, and preventing violent Mexican drug smugglers from bringing even more of their deadly drugs into our country. His son often accompanied and supported him on their 24/7 shifts.

Gunfire breaks out at border near Campo

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/metro/20080614-0102-bn14shots.html

1:02 a.m. June 14, 2008 CAMPO – At least three people were hit by gunfire Friday night on the Mexican side of the border near Campo, authorities said.

The California Highway Patrol said several shooting victims came across the border

The shootings occurred some time after 10 p.m.

A Heartland fire dispatcher said he knew of three victims, but that the Border Patrol had said there were more. The dispatcher said he did not know if anyone was killed. Border Patrol officials were unavailable to comment on what occurred.

Ambulances were sent to state Route 94, also known as Campo Road, near the Mexican border west of Campo, at 10:20 p.m. Mercy Air took one person to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, the Heartland fire dispatcher said.

In an e-mail from the San Diego Minutemen founder Jeff Schwilk, an associate claimed Minutemen were in the area when shooting broke out among Mexicans on their side of the border, and at least three people were dead.

In Chula Vista, several residents called police after 11 p.m. to complain about cars speeding through town. Police stopped one driver, who turned out to be a Border Patrol agent in an unmarked car heading toward the Campo scene from the Border Patrol's Chula Vista office.

Assault on the Border - ABP's Mike Christie Faced Death

Assault on the Border

http://www.americanpatrol.com/

ABP's Mike Christie Faced Death
American Border Patrol -- June 6
Mike Christie of American Border Patrol

American Border Patrol's Mike Christie was nearly killed yesterday when a smuggler attempted to run him down on the border. It was only the quick thinking on the part of this former law enforcement officer that saved his life.
This video shows how Christie came across the smuggler in a pick-up truck on ABP's ranch. As Christie moved to investigate, the truck turned around and headed straight for him, accelerating with its rear tires spinning. Trapped with nowhere to go, Christie pulled his sidearm and pointed it at the driver. At the last second, the driver turned toward Mexico and drove through the barbed wire fence at the border.
There is no question that had Christie not been armed, he probably would not be alive today.

----------------------------------------

Today, Christie was approached two people in Mexico. One of them offered to pay American Border Patrol to allow them to send their trucks across our property. This video shows what happened. (Christie had used an ABP border camera to make sure the people weren’t armed. He left it pointed at the point where he saw them.)

Thanks for the post. Did I read this right, one man working on his own + border patrol = 378 apprehended illegals?

I sincerely hope that your group fully realizes how much you are appreciated for your hard work (and the results you've achieved)!

While many of us continue to work diligently at our keyboards, writing, faxing and calling everyone in this stupid government we can think of, urging them to enforce the existing immigration laws, you real warriors are actually on the "front lines" of this state, doing real work. Thumbs up!

Report From Gaget Dan - 2 Reported

Dan:

Last night South of the High School, at approximately .8;17PM near the 7.5 mile marker on Buckman Springs Rd. (West side of range fence) I noticed two suspected illegal aliens in the brush. One (the male) came near me to ask if the Freeway was that direction (pointing North), I replied yes. He thanked me and went on their way. I called the Border Patrol on my cell phone withing a minute (8:18 PM). I stood by until the Border Patrol arrived (8:30PM approximately

I showed the first arriving Border Patrol where I last saw the suspected illegal aliens (approximately 30 yards West of Buckman Springs Rd.) heading North. The second Border Patrol arrived about five minutes or so later with a load vehicle (Van). They both were in the brush with flashlights for about 10 minutes, then came out with the two suspected illegal aliens - one male, one female. Loaded them both up and went on their way. The whole operation from my phone call to them loading up and driving away was approximately. 40 minutes. Very good operation indeed. Dan
