Raymond Herrera delivered a scorching hot speech in Spanish on the steps of San Francisco’s City Hall. The crowd went wild when they heard a Minuteman speak in Spanish to the Mexican media.
“We couldn’t believe our ears! How can the Minutemen have a bigger voice in Mexico than the Mexican people do?”
This was one of the comments that came from the counter Protesters. Raymond Herrera has delivered the message of the Minutemen to over 60 million Mexican citizens for the past year. He has appeared on numerous shows and been interviewed by the who’s who of the Mexican media.
THE GOLDEN GATE MINUTEMEN
The Golden Gate Minutemen, a chapter of the Minuteman Project showed up in numbers for the rally. Mike Jones, Minuteman leader organized his members and peacefully demonstrated. Mike did a great job with numerous T.V. and radio interviews.
“America should be proud of the great work the brave men and women of the Golden Gate Minutemen are doing in San Francisco.” Gilchrist stated to several reporters.
MINUTEMEN ASSAULTED
An angry protester broke through the police line and assaulted a Minuteman. The protester threw a glass bottle bomb that ignited upon impact. The Minuteman dodged the explosion and was able to defend himself against the irate insurgent, at which time the police quickly came to the rescue and arrested the counter insurgent. The pro-illegal alien insurgent was booked and is presently being held by the San Francisco police on $ 50,000.00 bail.

LightenRod and I had a great day removing litter / trail markers from I-8 and old US 80, where the Bushinvader trails meet same.
Yesterday (Monday), we removed some 90 pounds of litter from public lands. Just in the past three days I / we have removed 60 / 70 / and 90 pounds of litter from our public lands, including old sweat shirts, back packs, plastic water bottles (made in Mexico,etc.).
Yesterday was the first day we have gone deep (past the road way into the bush to remove litter/ trail markers.

Tijuana Invaders try to crash Ground Breaking Ceremony at Smuggler's Gulch Today

At 11:30 am today, right as the ground breaking ceremony with Brian Bilbray and Duncan Hunter was getting underway at the bottom of Smuggler's Gulch, four Bush-McCain-Kennedy "guest workers" decided to invade the sovereign territory of the United States (sans permission) just a couple hundred yards to the east on the high ground.
Apparently, they figured the distraction of the nearby ceremony would be a great time to sneak past the Border Patrol who were all down in the gulch.
An American Patriot driving towards Smuggler's via the border road spotted 4 in the bushes, got out and snapped these pictures. When they saw him, they ran back to the border fence and tried to cross back over. Most people don't realize, but the way the grooves are in the metal landing mat border fence, its easier to cross into America than back into Mexico so they could not all get back over quickly. BP arrived a few minutes later and made no attempt to stop them as they walked along the fence on our side looking for a good place to cross back. Eventually the last guy's friends on the Tijuana side pulled up and helped him back over into Mexico. The Mexican Olympic Fence Jumping Team this was not!
Hunter was on Roger Hedgecock today and said this 4-mile stretch of double fence to the ocean should be completed by May 1, 2009. After that, Enrique's criminal buddies will have to find a new way to invade our homeland!

Update from Granny Goose
AN UPDATE ON Granny GOOSE'S REPORTING, THEN APPREHENSIONS BY THE BORDER PATROL .-----------------------
I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM GRANNY GOOSE. HE REPORTED THE BORDER PATROL WAS EVEN MORE ELATED !
AS I MENTIONED IN THE ORIGINAL E-MAIL ( see below) 19 ILLEGAL'S ENTERED THE U.S., THEN THEY SPLIT INTO TWO GROUPS.
AS IT TURNED OUT, EACH GROUP WAS LEAD BY A "COYOTE".( GUIDE) . THESE TWO COYOTES WERE ALREADY ON THE BP LIST FOR "TO HOLD FOR TRIAL"
BOTH "GUIDES" WERE CONVICTED OF MORE SERIOUS CRIMES AND WERE GIVEN PRISON SENTENCES. -----ONE 2 YEARS AND THE OTHER 6 YEARS !!!
THERE IS STILL JUSTICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can thank Granny Goose for observing and reporting the illegals and their Guides, that
would have totally escaped detection if he had not been "effectively" observing.
The following seem to be working effectively in his " observing directly " for illegals----
1) Good Field Intel : Not just going "any where" or "some where", and just sitting , but doing research on the High Probability Entry Points (HPEP) -----2) Locate a well concealed "hide " from being seen by the "spotters" that are always there ,and then the illegals coming in ----- 3) With great stealth, enter the hide undetected ----- 4) Be able to remain focused 6 to 8 hours with out moving locations, or being seen or heard --------- ----- 5) When using the cell phone, use it under a cover to keep it's light from giving away your position. ( we can spot illegals by their cell phones lighting them up)------ 6) When leaving the "hide" , always use an equal amount of stealth , as getting into it. In other words, "NEVER BE SEEN". (you can use the hide again )
If they see you, the chances of you seeing them, diminishes significantly----- 7) Be alert and always have an instant "get away path" and clear plan of action (POA) to do so.
( Yes, the cartel has sent over goons to look for him in the past, but couldn't find him )
These are a few of the things I have observed Granny Goose do that works for him.

I just received a phone call from "Granny Goose" and a report from the border.
Using his usual stealth and patience, he spent 6 to 8 in a "hide", last night.
At 2030 hrs. , 3 illegals were observed coming over the border, with out revealing his hide,
he made the call to the Border Patrol and they made the apprehensions.
Remaining in place, and continuing to observe,--- at 23:00 hrs., first , two spotters were observed, then they disappeared .
Then at 2310 hrs., 19 illegals came over the border, and started running as fast as they could , north toward an area it would be very difficult to find them in.
Near him, the group split into two elements, 10 moving west and , 9 moving to the east,
before turning north.
Granny Goose made the phone call to the Border Patrol.
At a time like that, time seems to drag,---- he called in the illegal groups location up dates
as long as he could see them.
Out of concern ,they might be lost, --- at a distance, he traveled in the same direction as
one of the groups.
They has quickly "gone to ground", and he lost visual contact..
Just then, 20 plus, Border Patrol Agents arrived in the area from all directions.
All 19 were located and captured !!!!
Interestingly, he was told later , out of the 10 moving west, 7 were women.
"It seemed, every one of the Border Patrol Agents thanked "Granny Goose" for his alert
and accurate reporting."
They really appreciate his quiet , clandestine , "behind the scenes" contribution he
is making to border security. ( Granny Goose didn't tell me that, Border Patrol have spoken of him, to me in the past)
From what they have told me, the, Agents consider "Granny Goose", a real American hero.
The Border Patrol being as spread out as they must be, were just not aware of this
illegal alien intrusion. These intrusions can take place over just a few minutes before they "go to ground" and not be seen again in the area.
If one is not alert and looking right at them, unobserved, they enter the U.S. with out
detection.
Clearly a good fence system, in connection with other actions our government must take,
would be a tremendous asset.
The Border Patrol is doing a really heroic job with the assets and situation they are in.
I have been in the same situation, where I was focused on high probability entry point ,(HPEP)
and only because I heard Spanish being spoken, NORTH of where I was (!!!)., I was shocked to see a group of 6 to 8 using maximum stealth ( except I heard them, so not THAT
much stealth !!! ) moving north , right near my vehicle !!!!!!! If I hadn't heard them, I would
have not known.
Fortunately, we were using more stealth than they were, and the they didn't know were there. !!!! That is apparently why they felt free to talk out loud.
Hard lesson learned: Maximum stealth, a really good "hide", have good field Intel as to HPEP and being very, very focused all the time.
Admittedly , very hard to do for extended periods. ( especially for me !!!! )

Campo Border Patrol Station Closes - and A New Station Opens
While we sure miss the Border Patrol Station at Campo, the agents tell us they are pleased with the new facility, which covers approximately 45,000 sq ft. and is state of the art. The new station will be home for approximately 350 agents and public open house is scheduled for August.

French Filmmaker at The Border, Campo CA

Film Maker Saya came to the border at Campo, CA. The filmmaker has worked on documentaries all over the world. His most recent project dealt with illegal immigration in France, primarily from former French colonies. His films are especially concerned with uncontrolled illegal immigration from countries with unhealthy economies to countries with healthy economies, in numbers that overwhelm those economies.

July 4th At the Border

Monica was forced to leave the home in Texas and she and her two younger sons are living in a one bedroom apartment in Phoenix.
Her old son, who has a very hard time with the situation is staying with family members. Her youngest is suffering from un diagnosed kidney ailment. She can not get medical attention for him as she has lost her health insurance and is not (yet) poor enough for public assistance. Congressman Culberson has arranged for her to take him to a children's hospital in Texas. She will leave for the hospital next week.
Duncan D Hunter spoke, noting that the American Military was securing border in other countries, our president refuses to close the border at home. He feels we have 10 years to resolve this problem or we risk losing our sovereignty. His Dad's bill for 800 miles of border fence has been watered down but his father is committed to building the 370 miles of fence in California before the end of the year.
Construction has begun at Smugglers Gulch.

Many Minutemen checked out Kingfish's thumb and and shook his hand. Gabriel joked that in a few years the story would grow so that he got his thumb bit off. Someone even sent in $50 to Kingfish for his good work. Many old Minutemen friends were there.
Tim Donnelly was a welcome site. He founded the CA MDCD and was a great leader. Hopefully, he will be back!
