On the night agent Rosas was killed, Kingfish saw the group and was watching them with a border patrol agent. The agent started to walk to his car, and he turned back to Kingfish and said "we are going to get these guys, I'll come back and tell you about it."
A few minutes later, the gunfire. Kingfish was never sure, until tonight. Agent Rosas' partner came by and said, that yes, that was Agent Rosas that had stopped by and talked to Kingfish.
