Cherokee and I are between Campo and Tierra de sol, east of Campo Minutemen. We do have FRS Channel 6 contact with Kingfish lead dog of Campo Minutemen. In essence working for Campo Minutemen, but semi-independent. Campo Minutemen is not militaristic
march to the beat of my ego group but a fun loving, do it the way YOU want to, as long as you obey most CA and US laws and the laws of morality, group. Have fun, be cool. Report illegal's, if you must shoot back if stoned or shot at, your call.

Cherokee and I tripped across what I thought were National Guard but instead and even better, they were regular Army, and armed.

There are still major gaps in California border security as people are still crossing. Coming through Campo is foolish because of the concentration of government and civilian watchers in this area spreading east and west of Campo, CA Border Patrol station and the PCT.
There is even still actively in the area of Campo Minutemen, an example of being, a woman tore her finger off on the sharp wall right at 138, which is where the plateau drops down into the valley of the Pacific Crest Trail and the Oaks. (Side note:The PCT terminus starts at the Border Wall where there used to be a US border crossing gate. You can walk on this trail right into Canada from here.

Another example of border activity here has to do with all the US flags that CMM has placed on a secondary fence back from the Wall. It is your standard barbed wire fence. It is broken down from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico but some is repaired by Patriots. In Campo it has been 50% restored. Gadget Dan, is a major player in erecting flags. Small flags are attached all along the line, and large flags near the Wall. The smugglers on the south side steal the flags and burn them or place them on high points on the Mexican side. In placing them in Mexico, ARE THEY ASKING US TO ANNEX MEXICO? MR. BUSH ARE YOU LISTENING? I call for "Manifest destiny south, to the horn!"


Today the smugglers were swearing on channel 6. Bad boys all.
